May 20, 2018?
By Brother Mike (4-9-18; 15 minutes)

As we approach May 20, 2018, we wonder, could this be the date that we have been waiting for? First, we notice that May 20, 2018 is exactly 7 years from when the Day of Judgment began on May 21, 2011. This could be significant because the number 7 in the Bible often has to do with complete perfection of whatever is in view (see Bible Number 7 ). For instance, the complete perfection of creation was in 7 days. It took 6 days to create, and then Yahweh rested on the 7th day so that creation was complete perfection on the 7th day. Or, the complete perfection of a week is 7 days. Or, the complete perfection of the days from when Noah and his house were commanded to come into the ark to when the flood waters began was 7 days as we read in Genesis 7,

1 And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation .
2 Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female .
3 Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth .
4 For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth .

Of course, we now know that these 7 days symbolized the 7,000 years from the year of the flood in 4990 BC to the spiritual flood which came upon the world on May 21, 2011 because we read in 2Peter 3,

2Pe 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day .

So, one day is as a thousand years, and there were seven days mentioned from when Noah was told to enter the ark to when the flood waters struck, which is 7,000 years from the time of the flood in 4990 BC to Judgment Day on May 21, 2011 when the elect had to have entered the ark of Jesus Christ to be eternally saved.

But, getting back to the number 7, it is representative of the complete perfection of whatever is in view (see Bible Number 7 ). Therefore, the 7 days that Noah had to get into the ark represents the complete perfection of 7,000 years that the elect had to get into the ark of Jesus Christ for eternal salvation from the time of the flood in 4990 BC to May 21, 2011 when the spiritual flood waters came and eternal salvation was completely put to an end.

There are many other examples in the Bible where the number 7 represents the complete perfection of whatever is in view. For instance, on the Passover the Israelites were to eat unleavened bread for 7 days (Exodus 12:15;13:6-7). These 7 days represent the complete perfection of days in which the Israelites were to eat unleavened bread, and the last day of these 7 days represents the complete perfect end to the feast. Or, we find that the feast of tabernacles was to be observed for 7 days (Lev 23:34). This 7 days represents the complete perfection of days in which the feast was to be observed, and the last day of these 7 days represents the complete perfect end to the feast. And, there are many other examples of the number seven being used in this way. But, my main point is that since May 20, 2018 is exactly 7 years from May 21, 2011, May 20, 2018 could represent the complete perfect end of Judgment Day in which case the end would come on this date.

Now, there is another reason as to why May 20, 2018 may be significant. We read in Ezekiel 39,

9 And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years . . .

Notice that they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall burn the weapons with fire for seven years. In another study, we learned that the ones who burn these weapons are the elect who through their proclamation of Judgment Day with the removal of eternal salvation ever since May 21, 2011 spiritually set on fire and burn the weapons of Satan (see Ezekiel 39:9 ). But, what is of importance to this study is that the elect burn Satan's weapons beginning on May 21, 20211 for seven years. This 7 years represents the time span from May 21, 2011, and exactly 7 years from May 21, 2011 comes to May 20, 2018. So, is it possible that the elect finish their burning of the weapons of Satan on May 20, 2018, seven years from May 21, 2011, and that is when the consummation of all things takes place? Well, it could be if the 7 years is meant to be taken literally instead of spiritually, for many of us know that the 7 years could just be taken spiritually and so represent the complete perfection of time from Judgment Day beginning on May 21, 2011 however long that period may be. Yet, because the end is when that which is spiritual comes to light; when that which is not seen is literally seen; when the spiritual judgment now taking place becomes an outward and literal judgment, so also, then, we would expect that which is a 7 spiritual years of judgment beginning on May 21, 2011 to become a 7 literal years of judgment, which could only be if judgment ends on May 20, 2018 since that is the only date of which is exactly 7 literal years from when judgment began on May 21, 2011. So, herein we see how the 7 years of Ezekiel 39:9 in which the elect spiritually burn the weapons of Satan beginning from May 21, 2011 could very well be a literal 7 years, which means Judgment Day that began on May 21, 2011 could be complete 7 literal years later on May 20, 2018 when the end may come.

Now, we should be elated to know that exactly 7 years from May 21, 2011 in which the elect burn Satan's weapons comes to May 20, 2018, which is not just any old date, but it is that great feast called Pentecost. The spiritual fulfillment of Pentecost began on May 21 in 33 AD when the gospel was sent into the whole world in Acts 2 and the elect began to be spiritually saved as the first fruits of that harvest. This spiritual harvest of Pentecost continued throughout the Church Age so that Pentecost represents that time when the elect were spiritually saved as the first fruits of the harvest. Pentecost on the Last Day is different. It represents that time when the elect will be literally and outwardly saved from their bodies and this world, and given new bodies fit to live in the new heaven and earth as the first fruits of the literal and outward harvest. So, Pentecost represents both the first fruits of the spiritual harvest of the elect and the first fruits of the outward and literal harvest of the elect. The spiritual Pentecost took place during the Church Age, but the outward and literal Pentecost will take place on the Last Day. So, in that 7 years from May 21, 2011 falls precisely on Pentecost of May 20, 2018 may be more significant than we think. It may represent that Last Day when we, the elect, are literally saved from these earthly bodies to be given new eternal bodies, and when we are literally saved from this world to be given a new heaven and earth created from the ashes of this earth.

At this point, it is of some import to recognize that May 20, 2018, Pentecost, falls on a Sunday. Sunday, the 1st day of the week, represents the beginning of a new week, or we might say, the beginning of a new age, and Sunday is the day when Christ rose from the dead. This is all quite fitting if the Last Day is May 20, 2018 because this day would be the beginning of a new age in the new heaven and earth, and it would be that Sunday when all the elect will be resurrected to follow Christ who was also resurrected on a Sunday. So, if May 20, 2018 is that Last Day, things seem to fit together quite well.

Now, as May 20, 2018 approaches we are hopeful that this could be the day of which we have all been waiting for. But, there is, I believe, a good reason not to believe that this date will be as we hope for. That reason has to do with the studies we have done in Isaiah 13 , Jeremiah 50 , and Jeremiah 51 . In these chapters, we get the sense that there hasn't been enough time for the elect to have proclaimed Judgment Day to all the world as well as to all the churches. There seems to need to be more time. For this reason, I wouldn't count on May 20, 2018 as being the end, but what I would do to hasten the coming of the Lord is to get busy helping in some way to get the message out that Judgment Day began on May 21, 2011; that there is no longer any possibility for anyone becoming eternally saved who was not already eternally saved by May 21, 2011. Therefore, all the millions upon millions of people who were conceived and born after May 21, 2011, and all the billions of people who were not eternally saved by this date including all those who did not obey our Lord's command to depart out from all the churches are now certain to perish for their sins on the relatively soon to come Last Day of Judgment Day that we are now in. They have no hope for eternal life, and they will all soon be annihilated for their sins when all those who are in the graves and unsaved, and all those who still remain and are unsaved, will be brought forth to eternal damnation, which is annihilation forevermore.

So, as we consider May 20, 2018, there is perhaps a flicker of hope. But, that flicker of hope must be weighed against the need for more time to reveal judgment against the world and all the churches. When we honestly weigh these things out, it seems that there must be more time wins out, and I, quite simply, would not count on the end coming on May 20, 2018. Hopefully, I am wrong. But, it seems to me that what we should all focus upon is being a witness of judgment with no more eternal salvation possible against the world including all the churches. The faster we do this; the faster will the end come. Besides, I am not sure that we will even be able to know when the final Day is until it comes. Remember the flood account? Noah knew when Judgment Day would come (Gen 7:4) even as we also foreknew when Judgment Day would begin, namely on May 21, 20211, but Noah did not know the day in which he would finally step out of the ark onto the ground of the new world, which world was a type of heaven, until he was commanded on that same day to come out from the ark (Gen 8:14-15). This could very well be how it will be for us: we may not come to know when the Last Day is until, on that same day, we hear Yahweh's voice say, Come up here! So, the best thing we can be doing at this time is to continue to watch for that day, yes, but also continue getting out the message of judgment against the entire world including all the churches. From our studies, we know that Yahweh wants this message to be heard by everyone.

Now, may Yahweh through our Lord Jesus Christ, bless thee, and keep thee: Yahweh make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: Yahweh lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace .
