INTRODUCTION

Grace, peace, and mercy to all who follow the true Christ! I say, "who follow the true Christ," for their are many false Christ's in this world that have been constructed by demons and the minds of men and so, sadly, there are also many who follow a false Christ today to their own destruction without even realizing it. Indeed, they are spiritually blind, but they think they can see. Let's consider just some of these false Christs, which are many.

First, as we all know, the true Christ is called the Word of God ( Revelation 19:13 ), but so, also, are the Holy Scriptures called the word of God. Certainly, then, whatever we consider to be the true Holy Scriptures or Canon determines what Jesus we follow, for whatever authority we follow reveals the Jesus we follow. If we follow the Canon or word of God of the Catholics, namely the 66 books of the Protestant Bible, their Apocrypha, and even their so-called tradition, then we follow the false Christ of the Catholics . If we follow the 66 books of the Protestant Bible and the Book of Mormon, the Book of the Covenants, and the Pearl of Great Price, then we follow the false Christ of the Mormons or Latter Day Saints . If we follow the 66 books of the ever changing New World translation and the writings from the Watch Tower Organization, then we follow the false Christ of the Jehovah's Witness . If we follow the 66 books of the Protestant Bible and the direct word of God through dreams, visions, tongues, voices, prophesyings, or so-called words of knowledge like the Charismatic, Pentecostal, and even many others do, then we follow yet another false Christ, for God is no longer giving extra-biblical words directly from Himself ( Revelation 22:18-19 ).

Indeed, for us, the true word of God or Christ is complete in the 66 books of the Protestant Bible alone when properly and literally translated (not paraphrased) from the ancient Hebrew and Greek texts, of course. Everything God wants us to know can be found in those 66 books. They alone, therefore, together as one whole, circumscribe or define the true Christ and word of God, tradition, and faith. Any addition or subtraction to them begins the creation of another false Christ, and believe me, there are many.

But we can claim to follow the 66 books of the Bible alone and still be following a false Christ! More on this at another time to be continued ...

And, yes, I am still working on Daniel 8:13-14 , and it should be complete as soon as the Lord wills. I had to somewhat slow down and take somewhat of a break due to various recent stressors in my life. As you know, I am not a young man any longer. Pray for me! I am planning to go visit my daughter on Tuesday in the hospital in Medford, Oregon, a couple hours away from where I live.
