Introduction

Hello, this is Brother Mike with a message entitled "The October 21 Message." From everything that thousands of us could tell from decade's worth of Bible study, October 21, 2011 was suppose to be the end of the world. There was evidence after evidence, and proof after proof in support of our conclusion, then October 21 came and went, and the end of the world . . .  Well, it never took place. What can we conclude from this? In the broadest sense, I think there are only two possible conclusions that God's people can make:

1. The biblical calendar of history that was discovered some 40 years ago is incorrect in some way, or
2. The biblical calendar is correct, but we have not as yet been granted all the information required to completely understand the timeline at its end.

Based upon all the evidence and proofs for the accuracy of the calendar, and that no one to my knowledge has absolutely revealed where the calendar is wrong - except by notions not clearly supported by all of scripture such as no man can know the day (see We Can Know) - even though this calendar has been being scrutinized to one degree or another over the last 40 years, I must believe at this time that #2 is the best option; there must be something in the timeline that the Lord has not as yet revealed to completely be able to understand the timeline at its end. I am still open as always to the possibility of some error in the 40 year old biblical calendar, and would encourage anyone who thinks they have found one to show me where it is, but because I, and thousands of others, have not been able to find such an error to date, logic leads me to believe that the calendar is correct in so far as it goes, but a complete understanding of it, especially with respect to the very end of the world, is still lacking and the Lord may very well have more to reveal in His good time if or when, of course, it is according to His good pleasure to do so.

Defining True and False Prophets

Now, I want to make something perfectly clear again to everyone, believer or otherwise, because it is true and right regardless of what some people may think: we are not false prophets for having misinterpreted the exact timing of the end. I am sorry to say, but many people have a completely false understanding of what true prophets are. True prophets are not those who are perfect in every teaching. O yes, it was that way in times past before God's Holy Word was complete in the Bible about 95 AD, for before that time, prophets could receive errorless, perfect messages directly from God so that if they prophesied something that did not come true, you knew they were a false prophet and did not speak from the Lord because to prophesy in those days meant to reveal a direct, perfect and errorless revelation from the Lord. We read of this type of prophesying in Deuteronomy 18,

22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously . . .

Today, it is no longer so simple! A true prophet today is not one who gives an errorless, perfect message directly from God, for this kind of prophesying is no longer taking place ever since about 95 AD when God's revelation to humankind became complete in the Holy Scriptures alone. We read of this perfect and errorless prophesying having ended in the last book of the Bible, the book of Revelation, chapter 22,

18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

By saying " if any man shall add unto these things," and " if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life," the Lord is teaching that the words of the Lord are now complete in the Bible alone ever since the final scriptures of the book of Revelation were written in about 95 AD, so no one can any longer be possibly getting additional direct and perfect revelation from the Lord apart from what is already written in the Bible; that kind of revelation is now complete in the Bible alone. And although this exhortation to not add to or take away from scripture is found in the last book of the Bible, the book of Revelation, to not add to or take away from the words of this book does not just mean to not add to or take away from the book of Revelation alone as some would like to think, but it means to not add to or take away from the entire Holy Scriptures of the Bible. This is because the Holy Bible is a cohesive whole from Genesis to Revelation so that if you add to or take away from any part of the Bible, you are actually doing it to the entire Bible, and, if you do so, you are subject to the plagues that are written in this book, the Bible. Think of the Bible as a most beautiful already completed masterpiece painting, which has been signed and sealed as complete by the Master Painter. Now if someone comes along and adds to it or takes away from it, it is no longer the same painting because things have been changed no matter how small that change may have been, and due to copyright laws, the person who changed the painting will come under the wrath of the Master Painter and the law. So it is with respect to the Bible. The Bible as of about 95 AD has now been signed and completed according the copyright laws of the Creator. So, if anyone brings a message from God in any form - no matter how close it may seem to be to the real thing - other than just from the Bible such as in a dream, a vision, a word of knowledge, a tongue, a voice, a writing of some kind, a direct prophecy outside the Bible, and so on, that person is subject to the wrath of God, and has revealed themselves to be a false prophet who is subject to the plagues written of in the Bible.

What all this means is that ever since about 95 AD when the Lord had signed and sealed His masterpiece painting of Holy Scriptures, He is no longer giving direct revelation outside the Bible of any kind because the Bible is now complete in itself. This means that true prophesying is now based upon the fully completed Word of God alone; that is, the Holy Scriptures in their original languages, and it has nothing to do with the perfect, errorless messages from God as in times of Old because these types of messages are no longer being given. The Holy Bible alone is now God's complete and perfect message to humankind. True prophets, then, are those who study the Bible by comparing spiritual things with spiritual, which is scripture with scripture, as we read in 1Cor. 2,

13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

As these true Prophets study to show themselves approved, comparing scripture with scripture, they are gradually guided to more and more truth by the Holy Spirit which dwells in them. But they are not typically given a perfect revelation from God all at once, but must grow in knowledge with time, experience, practice, and, yes, more Bible study. Their prophesying, therefore, may be imperfect or incomplete until they have grown enough in biblical knowledge to be more exact in a particular teaching. It doesn't mean that what they may have previously taught somewhat differently is necessarily entirely wrong, but as they grow in knowledge, their teaching becomes more refined and exact. This, I believe, is what has been happening with respect to the biblical timeline of history. The Lord has been taking us through steps of learning with experiential reproof toward a more exact understanding until on one day, when it is the Lord's perfect will, and I believe that will be soon, God's people will be able to completely understand the timing of the end, for the Lord said we would know (see the We Can Know Series). It is a process of growth, and it builds upon previous knowledge. It doesn't nullify previous knowledge, but it refines it to make it more precise and exact. Each step in the growth process brings God's people one step higher on the ladder to heaven. So the way I must see it is this: that October 21 was not the end of the world as thought is just another stepping stone upward on the ladder to more truth, and we can praise the Lord for this. In fact, we can praise the Lord for all things at all times. He is sovereign; He is in control; He knows exactly what we need to go through to be conformed into the image of His dear Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Now let's talk a little more about false prophets so that you might more easily distinguish a false prophet from a true prophet. Like true prophets, false prophets may claim to go by the Bible, but, unlike true prophets, they have a wider authority than just the Bible alone. They do not base truth on just the Bible alone, but upon their church or denomination, upon a dream, a vision, a tongue, a word of knowledge, a voice, a prophecy outside the Bible, or upon certain additional writings outside of the Bible. In short, they still believe in and can use extra-biblical revelation in determining truth. To see one of these prophets in action just turn your TV and dial to one of the religious stations. Chances are you will be able to listen to so and so say, God told me this, or God told me that, as God supposedly spoke to them in a voice, or a dream, or a vision, or a tongue, or a word of knowledge, and so on. You should know that these are false prophets; they are everywhere! They are not only those who still hold to extra-biblical revelation in tongues, dreams, visions, a voice, words of knowledge, prophesying, and the like even though, as we had previously mentioned, the Bible in Revelations 22:18 would say revelations have ended, but they can also be those who base ultimate truth on writings other than just the Bible alone. You know what I mean: the book of Mormon; the church creeds, catechisms, and confessions; the Pope; the apocryphal books, the lost books of such and such, the writings of Ellen G White, or the writings of the watch tower organization, the Koran, or even the writings of the puritans, or John Calvin, or Arminius, and just a multitude of other possibilites. False prophets are everywhere! They are not in the minority, but in the majority, while the true prophets of God are in the minority as it has always been throughout history. So here is a word of wisdom: never use the argument that most Christians don't believe as you do; therefore, you are false prophets because that only reveals that we are in the minority, and could very well be true prophets. If you base truth on the majority of what so-called scholarly Christians believe, you can be assured that you are most likely already deceived, which is the way it has always been throughout history. Remember it was top church or synagogue theologians of the day who crucified our Lord, Jesus Christ.

The Many False Teachings of the Churches

No, we are not false prophets because we made miscalculations on the exact timing of the end. Actually, this is a relatively small doctrine of importance when compared to all the much more seriously false doctrines found in the so-called Christian churches of our day, and yet we, according to them, are the false prophets? Are you kidding, or are you just so blind? If anything, the churches are the false prophets, and we can know this without question! I won't even begin to list all the false doctrines they hold to because it would take me hours to do so, but here are just a few: Christ died for everyone and it is now up to you to make a decision for Christ to be saved; or Christ did what He needed to, and now you must do what you are required to do in order to be saved; or grace is available to everyone, and it depends on what you do with that grace to be saved; or the false teachings that you have to be water baptized to be saved; or speak in tongues to be saved; or that you have not been baptized in the Holy Spirit unless you have spoken in tongues; or the false doctrine which allows women to pastor and teach men in church and in Bible study groups; or the false doctrines in the charismatic movement of revelation still today in dreams, visions, tongues, voices, prophecy, and more; or the false teachings of divorce and remarriage for adultery, or because of having been born again as a new creature; or the Satanic false sign of falling backward; or the ridiculous garbage of Holy laughter and the like; or the false teaching that if you just believe, you are guaranteed to be physically healed in this life, for by His stripes you are healed; or if you have faith enough, the Lord will make you materially rich like Abraham; or the false doctrine that if you send money, God will return the same to you, but many fold more; or what about the false teachings of premillenialism and dispensationalism; the literal 1000 year reign of Christ; or the false doctrine that God has a wonderful salvation and golden age plan for the nation of Israel in the near future; or the false doctrine of post-millennialism; or that you must partake of communion or the Eucharist to be saved; or that the communion wine literally turns into the blood of Christ; or that the church has authority over the Bible, and not the Bible over the church; and the list goes on and on for miles and miles. As it was in the days of Old, so it still is today: The false prophets are considered true, and the true prophets are considered false. The false prophets are in the majority, and the true prophets are in the minority. Isaiah put it this way,

Isa 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

But be certain of one thing: a false prophet is not necessarily those who have miscalculated the end of the world. Heck, if you want to call them false prophets based upon this alone, you will have to call everyone a false prophet because there is no so-called prophet now alive on earth who holds every last doctrine perfectly. The churches hold a multitude of false doctrines, but we have only held for the most part in our zeal to " look for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God" as we are told to do in 2Peter 3:12, only a few incorrect things, particularly with respect to the timing of the end of the world. So who are the false prophets? In the end, wisdom shall justify her children.

SOME LESSONS FROM OCTOBER 21

Now at this point, I want to shift gears to ask the question, what can be learned from October 21, 2011 ?
I mean, what can we learn from the fact that October 21 was not the end of the world as we had thought the Bible taught?

The Spiritual Nature of October 21, 2011

First of all, we have not yet learned that the biblical calendar of history is literally incorrect in its dates; it seems that the evidence and proofs for its validity are just too great to be able to throw the entire thing out the window. Nevertheless, although I don't think we can reasonably at this time reject its dates, we certainly have come to realize that our understanding of the happenings on those dates, particularly the last several end-time dates, is somewhat different than we had originally thought. There has been a completely spiritual nature to these dates. May 21, 1988 was the end of the church age and the beginning of judgment upon the Christian churches, but nothing occurred outwardly. September 7, 1994 was the beginning of the latter rain and an important date with respect to the abomination of desolation who is Satan having been completely set up in the churches as judgment against them, but nothing could be seen outwardly, except, of course, the resulting speed by which the churches became more and more false in teaching and in practice. May 21, 2011 began Judgment Day on the world, which again was completely spiritual with nothing seen outwardly.
Finally, we came to October 21, 2011 , and nothing outwardly happened once again. So we must assume as exampled by the other several end-time dates that the happenings on October 21 were completely spiritual in nature as well, and they are centered arouond the fulfillment of the Feast of Ingathering and the Feast of Tabernacles, which were meant to be a clelbration to the Lord for the great harvest of souls that He saved during the Latter Rain from September 7, 1994 to May 21, 2011 and throughout history as well as the celebration to the Lord for all His provisions, guidance, deliverance, and complete care for His people throughout history and through His Word, the Holy Scriptures.

October 21 was NOT meant to be the End of the World

We had thought that on the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles we would be in heaven, but that was obviously a misconception in our understanding because we are still here. The challenge is now to discover through the Holy Spirit and Bible that missing information, which will give us a better understanding of the End. There is obviously more that we need to learn in this respect, and I really do believe that with time, the Lord will give us the information we are looking for. As we read in John 16,

13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

There is not only the experiential revealing that we are still here after October 21 , and so there must be more biblical information about the end of which has not yet been understood, but as I contemplate the events of the flood, which is clearly in scripture a type of the End of the world in our day, there is good reason to scripturally see that October 21 was not meant to be the very end of the world. If you will remember, in the account of the flood, the Ark finally landed on the top of Mount of Ararat after the first 5 months, or 150 days, into the flood as we read in Genesis 8,

2 The fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained;
3 And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated.
4  And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat

In the past we had assumed that the Ark coming to rest upon Mount Ararat was a picture of landing in heaven or in the new earth. This was because we saw in the 150 days, or 5 months according to the 30 day a month calendar of Noah's day, a picture of the 5 months from May 21 to October 21, 2011 after which we expected to go to heaven even as the Ark of Noah's day when landing on Mount Ararat was thought to be a picture of landing in heaven or in the new earth. We now know from experience that that is not true, and if we are going to still relate the flood of Noah's day to being a type of the End, which we should because the End is commonly typified by the flood in scripture, we are going to have to carry the account of the flood to its complete end when Noah and His family were finally commanded to depart out from the Ark because the earth had become dry enough to be inhabited. Since landing upon the top of Mount Ararat can no longer be equated with landing in heaven on October 21 as once believed, it seems to me that the most reasonable thing is to continue on studying the flood account after the Ark had landed on Mount Ararat to its very conclusion when the earth had finally become dry enough for Noah and His family to leave the Ark. Perhaps this is the missing information that when properly understood in its typology will help us to finally understand the exact timing of the End.

The Flood Account after landing on Mount Ararat

The time period from landing upon Mount Ararat until Noah finally exits the Ark is about 221 days based upon the apparent 30 day calendar months in Noah's day. In that the flood was never really complete until about 221 days after landing upon Ararat - you can see this calculation in the "Date and Time Calculations for The October 21 Message" section of this web site - we already have clear support that the world would not end 5 months into the flood, which would mean in our day that the judgment of 5 months from May 21 to October 21, 2011 , which was typified by this 5 month period of the flood to the landing on Ararat in Noah's day, would not end with the End of the World because it is revealed in the flood account itself that there is still about 221 days before the flood would be fully completed when Noah and His family would then finally be commanded by God to leave the Ark and begin their new lives on dry ground in the sort of new earth, if you will. The time period after the 5 months in which we now find ourselves would be that of which Noah and His family found themselves after 5 months into the flood when the Ark had landed upon the top of Mount Ararat. So, in beginning to better understand where we are now at in the scheme of things, it is essential to study this period of time in the flood account. Whether the approximate 221 days remaining ever since the Ark landed upon Ararat is to be taken literally in relationship to the spiritual flood of judgment on May 21 remains to be discovered. If it is, then we would expect the End to come near the end of May 2012  (see Date and Time calculations). But like I said, this would be only if the days of Noah after he landed on Ararat until he first stepped upon dry ground are to be literally related to our time. At this time, I do not have enough evidence to so absolutely conclude, but merely present it as a possibility to encourage further study and development of the biblical calendar of history.

We read of the account of the flood in Genesis 8,

3 And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated.
4 And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.
5 And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen.
6 And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made:
7 And he sent forth a raven, which went forth to and fro, until the waters were dried up from off the earth.
8 Also he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters were abated from off the face of the ground; 9 But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark.
10 And he stayed yet other seven days; and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark;
11 And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf plucked off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth.
12 And he stayed yet other seven days; and sent forth the dove; which returned not again unto him any more.
13 And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry.
14 And in the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth dried.

Now from this passage, we must recognize as I already mentioned that the flood waters were still upon the earth some 221 days or so after the Ark had already hit aground on Mount Ararat 150 days after the flood began (see Date and Time Calculations). So the completion of the first 150 days, or what we have related to the last 5 months of our day, was not yet the end of judgment. This means that the spiritual judgment which began upon the entire world on May 21, 2011 is continuing on past October 21 , and I must logically see the 5 month period as being completely spiritual and not a literal 5 months as we had thought; otherwise, why would judgment still be taking place even as it was in the days of Noah even after the 150 days, or 5 months. Contextually this makes good sense as well since everything in the first half of Revelations 9 where the 5 month period is mentioned twice is completely spiritual in nature (see Who Are The Locusts Of Revelations 9), so why wouldn't the number 5 used in 5 months also so be taken; that is, taken completely spiritual and not literal at all. One thing we certainly should have learned by now is the complete spiritual nature of May 21, 2011 , and now the apparently completely spiritual nature of October 21 as well. So to see the 5 months as completely spiritual and not literal is doing no damage to the context, but only supporting it as it is.

Now after the 5 month period when the Ark had landed on Ararat, we read,

5 And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen.

As I had already stated, I am not sure if we can relate the literal time in Noah's day to the time in our day, but assuming we can, the 1st day of the 10th month mentioned here when correlated with our modern day calendar and assuming Noah's calendar being referenced back then was a 30 day per month calendar, then the 1st day of the 10th month of Noah's day would correlate to January 5, 2012 on our calendar - you can see this calculation in the "Date and Time Calculations for The October 21 Message" section of this web site. If there is a literal correlation between then and now, this is when " the tops of the mountains [will be] seen." Knowing that mountains in the Bible can be symbolic of God or His kingdom (Ps.125:2; Ps.; 87:1; Is. 2:2), it may be saying that God's people who are now still in the Ark, although it is now run aground on Ararat spiritually speaking ever since October 18, or 150 days from May 21 , will begin to get a better view or understanding of when heaven will actually come and judgment will actually be completed sometime around the end of this year, or in the beginning of the next. But even as Noah could only see the tops of the mountains from afar under the covering of the Ark, so God's people will not yet have a clear understanding of the timing of the End. They will be seeing through a glass dimly, but they will know it will be coming soon.

The Raven & Dove sent out

Next, we read,

6 And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made:
7 And he sent forth a raven, which went forth to and fro, until the waters were dried up from off the earth.
8 Also he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters were abated from off the face of the ground;
9 But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark.

It was after 40 more days that Noah " opened the window of the ark which he had made." Assuming a literal correlation with our day beginning on May 21 , that would be February 15 or 11, 2012   - you can see this calculation in the "Date and Time Calculations for The October 21 Message " section of this web site. This is when we who are spiritually represented by Noah will send forth a raven and a dove, spiritually speaking. The Raven was considered an unclean bird in the Old ceremonial dietary law (Lev. 11:15; Deut. 14:14), and so I believe the Raven in the Bible is symbolic of that which is cursed and unclean. I think, therefore, the Raven was sent forth to and fro to fly about the earth in order to symbolize that God's judgment and curse is still everywhere upon the earth. It is, therefore, still not time for heaven, which would be being symbolized by the dry ground, which has still not come. In other words, there is still no dry ground to be inhabited, for the judgment of the flood is still heavy upon the earth. That God's people are pictured by Noah in sending the Raven forth is simply that they are recognizing and declaring that the spiritual judgment upon the world, which began on May 21, 2011 , is still very real even in February of 2012 .

Then we notice also that Noah sent out a dove to see if the waters had receded, but the dove returned to him because it found no rest for the sole of her foot as the waters were still on the face of the earth. What can this mean?

I think many of us know that a dove is symbolic of the Holy Spirit. Remember when the Holy Spirit descended upon Jesus at His baptism like a dove (Mt. 3:16). So that Noah sent out a dove to see if the ground was dry is symbolic of God's people, who Noah symbolized, praying and studying the Bible by the Holy Spirit as to when the spiritual judgment of God upon the entire world would be complete so that they could then come out from the Ark onto dry ground into heaven, but their prayers and study in searching for the timing of the End and of heaven produced no fruits as the dove returned with no new information. We also read that this dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, which symbolizes no rest in salvation in the world at this time. There is no rest in the salvation of Jesus Christ, except in the Ark. This is also the same reason why the dove was pulled back into the Ark. The completion of God's people's salvation will still be taking place within the Ark, but any new salvation out in the world will still no longer be taking place ever since May 21, 2011 ; the Holy Spirit was pulled back into the Ark.

The Dove sent out for a 2nd time

Now in verses 10-11 we read,

10 And he stayed yet another seven days; and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark;
11 And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf plucked off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth.

This is telling us that after 7 more days, Noah again sent out a dove in search for dry ground. Assuming a literal correlation to the calendar of our day (remember, I do not have any solid support for doing this at this time, but only offer it here for further examination), this will be on February 22 or 18, 2012 - you can see this calculation in the "Date and Time Calculations for The October 21 Message" section of this web site. At this time, God's people who are represented by Noah will again cry out by the Holy Spirit unto the Lord in prayer and Bible study as to when there will be dry ground, which is symbolic of prayer and Bible study for information as to when the End and heaven will come. This time, we are told the dove brought back an olive leaf. Actually, it is probably better to translate it as olive branch since this makes more sense to the context, and it is so translated in other portions of scripture. The olive branch in the Bible can be shown to relate to spiritual life in the kingdom of God, so in that the dove or Holy Spirit revealed to Noah, who is representative of God's people, an olive branch, I think the Lord is telling God's people that there will be some solid biblical evidence in February 2012 for when the kingdom of God will appear on the dry ground in the new heaven and earth of which we all long for. The evidence will be at least telling us that heaven is very near; here is the evidence: the olive branch which represents some golden nuggets of truth from the Word of God as to the timing of the End and of heaven. Like I said, if there is a literal correlation in days between Noah's and our calendar, this appears as if it will be on February 22 or 18, 2012 , and, as I have said before, you can see this calculation in the "Date and Time Calculations for The October 21 Message" section of this web site.

The Dove sent out the 3rd and final time

There is a 3rd and final time in which Noah sends out the dove as recorded in verse 12,

12 And he stayed yet other seven days; and sent forth the dove; which returned not again unto him any more.

Once again, Noah waits another 7 days, which if assumptions stay true, would be on February 29 or 25, 2012 - and you can see this calculation in the "Date and Time Calculations for The October 21 Message" section of this web site - but this last time, the dove does not return. This must mean that the dove finds dry ground and food, and so it does not need to return to the Ark. Spiritually speaking, this means that there will come a time in which God's people, who are represented by Noah, will once again send out the Holy Spirit in prayer and Bible study to discover the very timing of the End and of heaven, and this time they will discover dry land in the Holy Spirit. In other words, they will discover the timing of the end and of heaven. This should be very encouraging to us, and all the more so since this is the 3rd time the dove will be sent out, which due to the meaning of the number 3 in the Bible being the purpose of God (see the number 3), the Lord is saying to us that it is His purpose to reveal to us the timing of the End and of Heaven. If the literal correlation stands true, it will all happen in February 2012 . So there appears to be a lot that will happen in February with respect to coming to an understand of the timing of the End and of Heaven.

Noah finally exits the ark upon dry ground

Now the final two verses of interest in Genesis 8 go like this:

13 And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry.
14 And in the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth dried

Following through with the assumed literal correlation between Noah's calendar and our modern day calendar, the 1st day of the 1st month when the waters were dried up from off the earth, and Noah removed the covering of the Ark to behold dry ground would be on  April 5 or April 3, 2012 as you can see in the "Date and Time Calculations for The October 21 Message" section of this web site. Because Noah at this time removed the covering of the Ark, and saw the dry ground himself, we know this means that Noah who represents all God's people will recognize completely at this time when heaven - represented by the dry ground - will come. The removing of the Ark's covering means Noah no longer has any obstructed view of any kind; he can see absolutely and clearly the timing of the End and of Heaven. There will be great anticipation at this time, for God's people will finally know the exact time of their Lord's coming and the End of the World.

But although Noah clearly saw that the earth was dry, it must not have been completely dry so as to be able to walk on yet without the spongy and water-logged effect because it is 57 days later when we read,

14 And in the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth dried

This simply means that although Noah could now clearly see the timing of the End, he did not yet fully experience it until he took his first step from the Ark onto dry ground. This is representative when God's people will finally hear their Lord's command to go up to heaven in the rapture in order to take their first step into the new heaven and earth. Assuming the calendar of Noah's day was 30 days per month, and also assuming a literal correlation to the days of Noah's calendar beginning with the flood, and then relating those days to our Gregorian calendar beginning on May 21, 2011 when the spiritual judgment of what the flood typified began, this would be on May 31 or 30, 2012 , as you can see in the "Date and Time Calculations for The October 21 Message" section of this web site.  The fact that these dates are the days right before and after the modern day Jewish Pentecost Feast in 2012 (see the major Jewish holidays) may lend some support for its accuracy.

Now before continuing on with this message, I want to make it absolutely clear that I am not saying that the end of the world will absolutely for certain be in May of 2012 , but I have simply declared a possibility which may or may not be further supported by scripture as we discover new things with respect to the end, and compare scripture with scripture. One thing we can say for certain is that the 150 days, or 5 month period, that began at the start of the flood, and then continued on until the Ark rested upon Ararat is not the end of the story as we were thinking it was before October 21 . The landing upon Ararat 150 days, or 5 months, after the flood waters began does not typify having come into heaven on October 21 , or else we would not still be here. Since we are still here, we need to see that the typology in the flood account does not stop at Mount Ararat, but it continues on as I have shown in the biblical record of Genesis 8. No doubt there will be some more thorough study upon these verses to better understand the time period in which we now find ourselves, and to see if there is any kind of a correlation between the calendar of Noah's day and our own modern day calendar so that we might pinpoint the final day of this world when we will be finally raptured into heaven forevermore.

The frailties of human understanding

Okay, I want to now move away from the flood account, and consider a couple more lessons learned from May 21 and October 21, 2011 . One thing we have learned from all this is an even deeper realization of the frailties of human understanding. Yes, we can really believe we have the exact truth on a particular issue with apparently clear evidence and proofs such as we did with the timing of the end, and yet not be entirely correct. I don't know about you, but that really makes me feel humbled and small, and I realize more than ever before that I am completely dependent on the all knowing God to keep me from drifting too far away from the ways of truth, and the wonderful thing is that He promises that He will do just that as we read in John 16,

13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

This is a promise to all God's people that He will guide them into truth, and show them things to come. It does not mean He will all at once guide us into truth, but that He will guide us to truth in His own time, and in His own way. So if we learn anything from October 21 , we should certainly have a deeper realization that because we are so small in wisdom and knowledge, we are completely dependent upon the Lord's guidance. And as we push into Him in prayer and the study of Holy Scripture more and more, He will guide us to all truth. That is a promise we can all count on, but as I said, it will be in His own time and way. So there may be some stumbling along the way; not just because of the frailties of human understanding alone, but due to the Lord's timing and ways. If He doesn't want us to know something until a certain time, we will not know it until then. There are many reasons why the Lord might do things this way, but probably one of the most important reasons is to do whatever it takes to transform our characters into the image of His dear Son; to build patience, endurance, faith, hope, and most of all to build in us, love

Love is far more important than knowledge and prophecy

Now speaking about love, a misunderstanding of October 21 is not only teaching me a greater humble dependence upon the all knowing God who promises to guide His people into all the truth, but it is also teaching me a greater focus upon love. I have come to learn how frail human knowledge can be more so than ever before. In other words, although knowledge is an important ingredient in following Jesus Christ, and we would never want to rid ourselves of it, it really is quite often changing or inexact due to the frailties of human finite understanding and the timing of the Lord, and so it is not something to completely center your life around because you could be wrong in this area or that area, and not even know it. Knowledge really is quite weak and frail! So, I ask myself, is there something more dependable and exact in following Christ wherein I can more fully center my life? I mean, I am not denying the importance of knowledge, for it is critical, but is there something that unlike knowledge never fails; never goes wrong; never is only partially correct? As I contemplate these questions, one thing in particular comes to mind: LOVE! Love never fails; never goes wrong; and never is only partially correct; in fact, it is always correct. You can never go wrong by loving.

I know you know that love is a much better thing to center your life around than knowledge and prophecy, but a constant refresher is always good. So let's read several verses of the love chapter found in 1Cor. 13,

2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not love, I am nothing.
3
And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not love, it profiteth me nothing.
4
Love suffereth long, and is kind; love envieth not; love vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; 6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
8
Love never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
9
For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
10
But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
11
When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
12
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
13
And now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Yes, the greatest is LOVE; not knowledge or prophecy, but LOVE. You see, it is not so important that we know the exact day of the end of the world although there certainly appears to be scriptural support that God's people will know when the time perfectly comes, but that we exercise love toward others without being judgmental against them just because they do not see everything exactly as we do. We have already seen how easy it is to be wrong in a matter, so let's not be judgmental, lest we be wrong and they be right, but let's love others more so than ever before. That is what is most important; that is what following Christ is all about.

Let's love the brethren; not judge them

Have you ever felt you were not being loved by another but unjustly being judged by them? I know you have; it's a terrible feeling that can make you feel unwanted by others, isn't it. I remember once feeling judged by some of my very own brethren because I had concluded that "the son" of Mark 13:32 which states, " But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father" must be referring to Jesus in some way. Although I did not conclude this to be teaching that no one can know the day, I was sort of looked down upon anyway, and I even lost some tremendous professional and financial support for the building of my web site because I did not agree with some of my brethren on this particular teaching. I ended up having to do the work myself. Did I feel judged? Absolutely! But do I still think I am right? Absolutely! By the way, you can read or listen to my study on Mark 13:32 by clicking on the link here

The point I am making is that it is so easy to judge another before loving them, but it is the most important thing that we love them because love is the greatest gift and expression of God, and to love another is not to place any conditions upon that love such as having to believe exactly like I do, or having to do this or that, and so on. In fact, God is love! And what did our Lord say about love while on earth? Let me read a few other verses that we can never get enough of. We read in Luke 6,

27 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,
28
Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.
29 And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloke forbid not to take thy coat also.
30 Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.
31 And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.
32 For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them. 33 And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.
34 And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again.
35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.
36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.
37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:
38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

You see, I think probably one of the most important things we can learn from October 21 is a greater focus upon love. When what we thought about something in knowledge is shot down at least in part, it forces us to see just how weak human understanding and knowledge of the scriptures really can be. This, in turn, forces us to learn to lean more on something that is unshakable such as love instead of knowledge, and toexamine our priorities to see if we might be spending too much time and energy on knowledge instead of upon the love which surpasses all understanding and knowledge, for love cannot fail, but a prophecy, it can fail due to the frailties of human understanding. " Love never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail . . . whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. . . And now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love."

So is it possible that the Lord brought us to this point to force some of us to examine what is most important in our lives? Is it possible He would have us put more focus on loving others than upon the frailties of human understanding? As I examine myself, I tend to think so because I am certain that I fall far short when it comes to loving others, even far shorter than when it comes to knowledge. Love never fails and goes on into all eternity, but prophecy and knowledge will be done away. Which would you devote most of your time and energy to? I am certainly not denying the importance and value of knowledge and prophecy, but we may do much study and prayer, and still be wrong either due to the frailties of human understanding or the timing of God. But if we do much loving, we will never be wrong, at any time. And what did Jesus say about love? He said,

Joh 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

And,

Joh 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Fathers commandments, and abide in his love.

And again,

1Jo 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

And again,

1Jo 3:17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?

And there is just a multitude of scripture on love!

So let's make sure we are placing love above all other things; do not judge your brother or sister because they are not 100% in agreement with you, and continue hastening the day of the Lord when knowledge and prophecy will be done away with, and we are left with nothing but the sure and certain foundation of love, for love is God, and He is who we should crave more than anything, including more than knowledge and prophecy.

Now I am sure the Lord will teach us many more things with respect to October 21 as time goes on, but, in closing, I want to mention that once again the web site will be progressively being updated. Nevertheless, you will be able to click on the MAIN SITE link on the homepage to access it. Just be aware that changes will be taking place; however slow it may be.

Now, don't give up the ship because the best is yet to come. And as always,

24 The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:
25 The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
26 The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.

Amen!
