in each of the New Testament Christian churches. Indeed, they were the lively spiritual stones that made up the Temple, House, or Church as we can see in 1Peter where we read,

1Peter 2:5 Ye [the true believers] also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house [or temple] , an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ .

Thus, the true believers that were then within all the various Christian churches were the new spiritual temple that the old physical temple was a foreshadow of. And when that old temple was destroyed in 70 AD by the Romans, it was a foreshadow or type of things to come, which would be the spiritual destruction of the new spiritual temple, which was all the Christian churches that consisted of true believers in Jesus Christ, for they were the lively stones of the new spiritual temple or Christian churches.

Now, we know that this spiritual destruction of all the Christian churches began at the spiritual end of the Church Age and the beginning of God's Judgment on His own house or temple on May 21,1988 according to the perfectly accurate, Biblical Timeline of History, which now leads us back to what Jesus previously said in Luke 21. Remember, He said, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down . Who are the stones of the temple? They are the true believers. And Jesus said there would not be

God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount .

And further, we read,

Hebrews 10:1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect .

And again, we read in Colossians 2,

16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days [all things of the old law]:
17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ .

The point simply being that the old tabernacle or temple included with the old law or covenant was but a foreshadow of heavenly or spiritual things to come. Therefore, the destruction of the old Jewish temple in 70 AD, being of the old covenant, was but a foreshadow of things to come, and not the very image of things. The very image of or spiritual things that the destruction of the old temple foreshadowed was the future destruction of the spiritual and heavenly temple or Church of the living God, which during the Church Age from May 21, 33 AD to May 21,1988 consisted of the true believers

left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down . This means, therefore, that there would not be left one true believer upon another in the Christian churches, but they would all be thrown down. And, indeed, that is exactly what had happened during the Great Tribulation from May 21,1988 to May 21,2011, and even to this very day: the true believers have been thrown down, for they had been spiritually trampled down and spiritually killed (silenced) in the Christian churches by the counterfeit Christ, the Antichrist (also called the Man of Sin, the Abomination of Desolation, and the beast), Satan himself and his host, and then they had obeyed the true Christ to depart out from all the Christian churches to escape His wrath upon them, for Judgment [had to] begin at the House of God (1Peter 4:17). Thus, the true believers are no longer in the Christian churches. And since they were the living stones of all the Christian churches as we previously learned, but they are no longer in those churches, we see the complete fulfillment of what Jesus meant when He said, there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down . The true believers (the spiritual stones of the temple) are no longer in the Christian churches, so there cannot possibly be left one stone upon another of true believers. The New Testament Church has been spiritually destroyed as was foreshadowed that it would be by the destruction of the old Jewish temple in 70 AD! The Eternal Church, on the other hand, who are the true believers themselves, have left all the earthly

There shall not be one stone left upon another!

Grace and peace to all who have been lively stones of the temple, but who no longer stand, one stone upon another, as the true temple in the corporate Christian Church because you had been thrown down and trampled during that Great Tribulation from May 21,1988 to May 21,2011, and even to this very day, so that none of you remain, one stone upon another, within any Christian church. Christ revealed that this would happen to us in the three gospels, Matthew 24:2, Mark 13:2, and Luke 21 where we read,

5 And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said ,
6 As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down .

Many believe that this passage was already fulfilled in 70 AD when the Romans destroyed the Jewish temple. But because the old Jewish temple and its happenings were part of the old covenant that was but a foreshadow of things to come as we read in Hebrews 8:5:

Heb 8:5 Who [the old priests] serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly [spiritual] things, as Moses was admonished of

churches and now patiently await to be placed, spiritual stone upon spiritual stone, forever in the new heaven and earth that is soon to come.
